Family, Saturday Family Concerts

ChristianSwenson2A master of improvisation, Christian Swenson takes young audiences on a wildly delightful adventure of transformation through our original instruments—body and voice. Speaking directly to children’s bodies and imaginations, Swenson imitates other species and cultures as he shows children a place in all of us where humor and beauty are one. From a cappella “dansing” to call-and-response singing, Sufi poetry, lumbering dinosaurs, and improvisation based on audience suggestions, Swenson fuses singing, dancing, and acting into a one-of-a-kind performance of engaging enchantment.

Presented by: Town Hall as part of the Saturday Family Concerts series, curated by Brian Faker and Susie Tennant. Series supported by US Bancorp Foundation, Lucky Seven Foundation, and Fales Foundation Trust. Series media sponsorship provided by ParentMap.
Tickets: free for kids 12 and under/$5 for adults. Tickets are required for children and adults.
Doors open: 10:30 am.
