The return of our afternoon of delightfully unconventional holiday stories, poems and musical cheer—a sweetly antidotal alternative to the usual ’tis-the-season’al fare—boasts some of the Northwest’s favorite professional actors. Frank Corrado, Cheyenne Casebier, historian/raconteur Paul Dorpat, and Jean Sherrard, who also returns to direct. Stories include Jeannette Winterson’s “sadly whimsical” O’Brien’s First Christmas, Michel Tournier’s alternative to Father Christmas, Mother Christmas, and the hilarious and tough Tenth of December by Town Hall favorite, George Saunders . Homegrown music from Pineola— Collin Schulze, Leslie Braly, John Owen, and Josh Woods—warms up the afternoon.
