ThaliaSummerFeaturing guest conductor Jeremy Briggs Roberts, the orchestra closes its season at Town Hall with a program including Brahms’ Academic Festival Overture, Op. 80; Berlioz’s Nuits d’Ete, Op. 7, featuring soprano Kimberly Giordano; and selections from Prokofiev’s Romeo & Juliet. Founded in 1949, Thalia specializes in music from the mid-19th century to the present, featuring new works and rediscovered classics. Presented by Thalia Symphony. Advance tickets are $18/$13.50 students & seniors/free for children under 12 at www.brownpapertickets.com or at the door. Great Hall; enter on Eighth Avenue.
